NEXT Exam , MBBS , Guidelines , Latest pattern explained with Tips and sample questions -
Welcome to Career Finder we'll be discussing this much aspectsof NEXT exam with what information we have so far let's begin , NEXT examination also known as the national exit test for the MBBS it's a one country one exam idea what are we unifying ? The neet pg AIIMS JIPMER foreign medical graduates examination and the medical council licensing examination , so , everything will be in the next exam and also the licensing ofmedical graduates after internship so i'll just explain the normal mbbs structure MBBS structure what is happening now , HS here means house surgency or internship so let's discuss the normal MBBS you come to the first year after clearing NEET UG, then first year second year third year fourth year fourth yearthe final year you write university examination finally university examination and after writing university examination you can either pass or you can fail when you pass you become house-surgeon or you enter the internship and if you fail you try again that's what happens in normal MBBS so when you're done with house-surgency in you can do what you can do pg examinations and get a pg seat but the important thing is after finishing the university finally year examination you're already a doctor when you complete internship you're actually completing a training and you're getting out as a doctor you're already a registered medical practitioner So, to sum up when you are a student that is a final year student you write a university exam you go for internship you come out as a doctor a registered medical practitioner either it's gonna change so what are the change i'll just explain what is going to happen when NEXT comes around so this is the NEXT based scenario in the ug , the ug here means NEET Ug.
Okay the ug is NEET ug so after finishing the neet ug we get to mbbs first year second year third fourth year and fourth year you write the university exam it is no more.
Update: University exam is present, after passing that you write NEXT 1)you write NEXT 1 after writing NEXT 1 you can either pass or fail if you pass you go to internship hs but after completing the internship you are not a doctor now you have to write NEXT 2 which is a practical examination and you have to pass that to become a After becoming a doctor we write the pg examination to get the pg seat the pg exam is no more you have already written it that is your NEXT 1 so it is actually a pre-booking of your pg seat one year before almost there is a lot of confusion in this , i'll just explain the methodology.
So if you fail the NEXT 1 you have to try again after one year so to try again if you fail the NEXT 1 so what is the proposed date in 2022 march that is the 2017 batch Will be writing bit first , what happens is they have to write NEXT 1 in march 2022 they will write NEXT 1 which is an mcq exam i'll come to the details of the examination then one year apart april 2023 they will write up NEXT 2 so after completing their internship they will write next to two If they pass, they're a doctor and they can enter the already pre-booked seat that is the condition now so NEXT 1 is an mcq examination which is conducted by a national body NEXT 2 and then another practical examination it is a pass or fail examination it is conducted by the university so next one will be an mcq exam and NEXT 2 will be a practical exam that is the summary.

NEXT 1 is mcq exam NEXT 2 is a practical exam a pass/fail-file exam which gives you the license to practice next one pre-book your pg seat now we'll explain the weight age of portions there is a drastic change in the way because core clinical subjects like medicine surgery OBG up to 120 questions will be getting 60 questions each year second year topics are their worth in public only 10 percentage each for the psm a three clinical subjects only 10 percentage first year and second year will only be getting 10 percentage and the core clinical subjects will be getting the major proportion so there is a drastic change there will be integration only clinical based questions now we will move to how the exam is conducted again in an there will be around 540 mcq questions so it will be a three day exam one of those day one you will have medical and allied that is hundred and twenty questions for session then there will be pediatrics post lunch session 60 questions for 1.5 hour time is increased to write exam but we know the question pattern have drastically changed should be more clinically based questions , day two will be surgery and the post-lunch session would be sent and day three the pre-lunch session would be OBG and the post lunch session would be Opthalmology okay that is the three day examination pattern.
\
I hope that is clear so this is how our exam day will be looking like and the important point is you could not see psm and first year second year topics as a paper there are ten percentage each and they will be integrated into the question paper will be integrating all these subjects now we'll discuss another thing that is 60 percentage of the questions will be problem solving cases then comprehension analysis will be measured 30 percentage and most importantly only 10 percentage will be recall questions pure fact which is the largest which is the longest word okay so it will be moved to clinical case in the latest neet pg examinations the students who have completed the examination every aspirant review was, they said that it was not 300 questions it was actually 300 patients in the op department so the pattern is drastically undergoing a change now we will discuss a single question a single question we will change it into level 1 level 2 level 3 questions understood.
Questions -
The question is which of the following nerve will be injured it is the radial groove so it is a radial nerve understood but it is a level one question the x-ray is not needed in this Question,it is radial groove fracture so that they don't need to provide an x-ray so this is a level one question how can we make this a level two question very simple we change what has been asked , it is the same fracture same person the question is asking which of the following muscles will be paralyzed Again the question is given as what the fracture is you just need to know what nerve got damaged and what the nerve is supplying so it is a level two question understood now we'll go to level three here the fracture will not be given the exact location of fracture will not be given i'll just erase that fracture location it is a level three question here you can see the anatomy question changing to a medicine or or the question i'll explain you how so there is a fractured radial groove i'll simply erase the radial groove because in question number one and two x-ray was not needed, but here we need x-ray , because we don't know where the fracture is here it is given a fracture given below so we need to look at the x-ray right so it the man 24 year old male is coming to the casualty so it is like an inspection or a medicine aspect and there is a fracture fracture inspection so what is it, it is more like an ortho case the anatomy case has become an ortho case right so we need to know where the fracture is to answer the question we need to know where the fracture is by looking and understanding from the x-ray and we need to know which nerve will be damaged and we need to know on average what will happen to the body if that nerve is damaged and if you know all this where is the fracture? Which nerve got damaged ? What action does that nerve does?If we know all these, then we can say the answer is Wrist drop understood only then we can get to the answer that is wrist drop this is a level three question this is how you clinically integrate the questions.
What are the tips what are the tips for the next exam tip study -
Try your best it's pandemic but try your best and iknow how frustrating it is but when the college reopens please we need to go toclinics because the license is at stake so coming to the final session of the Blog the 2015 batch is undergoing intern ship right now the pandemic situation, then they try the pg to get the pg seat the 2016 batch is the final year right now and 2021 NEET will be conducted we have a confirmation on that as of now NEET 2021 exist But we don't know what happens to a 2016 batch student who couldn't get past the NEET pg in the first attempt so there is a confusion on that aspect i hope it will be cleared once the official confirmation comes on so just let's just wait so 2017 batch will be the most probable batch that will undergo NEXT 1 ,and they will go for internship then after completing internship they'll write the NEXT 2 ,practical exam and get to the pg seat already pre-booked by NEXT 1, and the remaining batch will follow so what if they fail NEXT 1 they will come back , attempt again, and what if they pass NEXT 1 and fail NEXT 2 What happens? I don't know Its controversial let's wait for a confirmation, another aspect is the NEXT 1 you get a good rank you're getting a pg seat no problem but if you're getting a low rank but you pass So is the possibility of improvement of rank exist? we don't know Lets waiting confirmation again so we don't have a clear picture a lot of things are still unclear.
